What to Expect from our Childcare
Service Paradigm Overview
One simple booking for any age, any time. Tell us about your child and schedule — we handle the rest. Childcare covers ages 0–12 years, both daytime and overnight, with smart pricing that adjusts automatically: Standard Childcare (12 months+) is $32/hr daytime and $36/hr overnight (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM); Infant Care (under 12 months) is $38/hr daytime and $42/hr overnight; After-School Pickup & Care is $36/hr. If a booking spans both daytime and overnight hours, each portion is billed separately at its own rate, and if any infant under 12 months is included, the infant rate applies to the entire booking. Minimum booking is 3 hours.
Standard Operating Expectations & Handover Protocols
Government CRRP background cleared (audited by the BC Ministry of Justice) — every caregiver, every booking.
Infants under 12 months receive a Certified Infant First-Aid & SIDS Safe Sleep trained caregiver, with feeding, sleep, and soothing logged throughout the visit.
Children 12 months and over enjoy active, screen-free engagement — outdoor play, reading, block play, and meal prep built around your routines.
After-School Pickup & Care includes secure school-gate pickup, homework help, snacks, and downtime activities until you're home.
Overnight bookings (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) are staffed by a caregiver who stays awake or on immediate alert for bedtime routines and night wakings.
5-minute early check-in for a thorough parent briefing, and a full handover summary at the end of every shift.
Hourly or overnight check logs available for parent review upon request.
All childcare bookings include multiple children in the home at no extra charge — when an infant under 12 months is present with older siblings, the infant rate covers everyone.
