The first weeks after birth are beautiful, exhausting, and overwhelming — especially when family isn't close by. Our trained postpartum support workers come directly to your home to give you the rest and recovery you deserve. From newborn care and breastfeeding support to light housekeeping and emotional reassurance, we are here so you can truly heal. We honour the cultural importance of the 40-day recovery period and match workers to your language, background, and specific needs.

Certified Doula or Postpartum Care Specialist assigned and matched to your language and cultural preferences.
Newborn soothing support — swaddling, safe bassinet placement, feeding, diapering, and gentle rocking.
Breastfeeding encouragement, bottle-feeding support, and breast pump sterilization.
Light housekeeping — newborn laundry, dishes, tidying — so you can focus on rest and recovery.
Nutritious meal and herbal tea preparation tailored to the recovering mother's needs.
Continuous emotional support, non-judgmental presence, and gentle guidance for first-time parents.
Questions about Postpartum Support
Online, start to finish, at whatever hour suits you. Choose the service, the city, the date and the hours, tell us anything specific about your family, and pay on the site — there is no phone call, no callback and no waiting on a quote before you know the price. Hourly childcare, postpartum support, senior and adult support and event nannies all work this way, and nanny placement will too once it opens. Pediatric support is the exception: SLPA, OTA, behaviour intervention and autism respite are enquiry-only for now, and those pages say so. A phone line is there if you would rather use it — (604) 283-2829 — but nothing requires it.
Postpartum support is $38 an hour during the day and $42 an hour overnight, between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, with a three-hour minimum per shift. There is no package to buy into and no minimum number of visits — families book a single afternoon or several nights a week, and the rate is the same across all 16 municipalities we serve.
